Family Background: Son of John and Emma (nee Farish) Jackson of Liverpool. They were married in 1911. Their daughter, Eileen, was born in 1911. John was a Fireman on the London and North West Railway. In 1911 they were living on Gloucester Road, Carlisle. In 1921 John’s brother, also Albert, and also a Fireman, was lodging with them.
