Walter Bancroft, M.A., vicar of St Michael\u2019s ,Stanwix,and Margaret May Bancroft; husband of Ethel Muriel Bell, of Carlisle. They were married on 28<sup>th<\/sup> August 1943.They had a baby boy on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> July 1944 eight months after he died. His father officiated at his own son\u2019s funeral; and three days later he buried Sydney Elder and Sidney Tweddle who had been killed in the same aeroplane when it crashed in Yorkshire.<\/p>
